Activities of the Southampton Massachusetts Woman's Club

About

The Southampton Woman’s Club is a civic organization established in 1917 as the Home Economics Club in the town of Southampton, Massachusetts. Our motto is “For the greatest good”.

May 28th Sue Scott and I represented the club at the annual Cooley Dickinson Volunteers Luncheon. Our group of knitters and crocheters is small but mighty which includes Linda Green and Yolanda Matson who did not attend. The event was held at the Look Park Garden House and it was lovely. We felt very appreciated. Our donations to the NICU and the cancer ward were very impactful.

If you’re an artist or crafter, join us Wednesdays at the southampton senior center from 9-11. Beads, painting, paper craft, yarn craft all welcome. If you want to learn yarn craft this is a great opportunity. Not a member? :  to be included in this contact Deb at debdamico@charter.net for more info.

Great fun Firehouse Christmas Meet Santa Event

Thanks to our bakers, crafters and elves for the joy.

One thing I try to do is save flower seeds to plant next spring. I grew giant orange Mexican sunflowers this year, and I’m harvesting their seeds in the hope of tons more next year.
